Funeral services for Mrs. Ernestine Turner Washington, 70, of Etlan, were conducted Thursday at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church by the Rev. J. A. Holmes. Burial was in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at Etlan.
Mrs. Washington died Monday, July 30, 1979, at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville. She was a native of Rappahannock County and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, James Edward Washington; a son, Jesse Washington of Harrisburg, Pa.; five daughters, Mrs. Lottie Yeager of Banco, Mrs. Fannie Jackson of Rapidan, Mrs. Ann Hackley and Marie Washington, both of Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Doris Shanks of Reva.
