Tickets are now on sale for that most beloved of plays - Peter Pan, to be presented April 30, May 1, 2 and May 8 & 9th at Mountain Magic Theatre. This is the full length musical version that recently played on Broadway filled with all the singing and dancing that delight the hearts of children and former children. It is the magical story of Neverland, with its pirates, fairies, Indians, and the boy who wouldn’t grow up.
The Rappahannock Players have gone to great lengths to recreate all the magic of Neverland, from the aerial escape out the Darling’s Nursery window, to the underground home of the Lost Boys, to the deck of dastardly Capt. Hook’s Pirate Ship. Each moment is filled with the kind of magic that only fantasy and fairy dust impart.
Peter Pan is expected to be a sell-out, so get your tickets early. Tickets are less expensive in advance (S3.50 adult, $2.00 twelve and under) and then at the door. Tickets are on sale at Rappahannock Library, Nature’s Foods in Washington, Faith Mountain Antiques in Sperryville, and daily at the Mountain Magic Box Office.
