Mrs. Julie Logan is a wellliked and respected teacher at Rappahannock County High School. She knew that she wanted to be a teacher and it was suggested that she go into special education. She attended Old Dominion College to receive her training. Rappahannock was her first job out of college. When asked how she happened to come to Rappahannock. she said that Dr. Bloomer wrote her requesting an interview. The beauty of Rappahannock along with her immediate taking to Dr. Bloomer, helped her to decide to accept the job.
She really likes children and enjoys teaching. Mrs. Logan is very close to her students and is dedicated to them.
As most are aware her husband. Jim Logan, a teacher here, has accepted a job at Randolph Macon Academy. She plans to continue teaching in Rappahannock and will commute. She promised a couple of her students that she would stay until they graduated, which is next year, and she's keeping her word. She says that in her
