Stringfellow of Amissville. 1 followed by Shane Thompson of Sperryville. Joey Eld red of Washington finished third in this class and jumped back on his bike to ride the course again. His twenty-four miles was the longest distance of the day.

Peggy Clark, -who with Mary Clarke of Sperryville chaired the benefit, said that local businesses had given the event a great deal of support. She singled out several for special thanks: the Sheriff’s Department, the Hint Hill Fire Department. Nature's Foods of Washington. Sperryville Exxon. Fairlawn Antiques, the Woodville Grocery, the Country Store in Washington. Bradford's and Settle’s Groceries in Hint Hill.
