Producers will be charged $1.30 per lamb to cover yardage. grading fees, postage and advertisement.

This is the second year the association has sponsored these sales and the seven (7) 1980 sales brought $66.50, $69.05. $70.85, $70.65. ’ $68.10. $65.80 and $69.00 for Blue O lambs. Thirty-six area sheep producers sold lambs in the sales last year. The Wool Pool established the sales to bring a good market price to area lamb producers while cutting the mounting transportation costs.

This marketing program provides an added advantage to local sheep farmers by allowing them to know the price they will receive for their lambs prior to the sale.
