The engineering firm recommends that the WSA purchase a truck to pump out solids from the septic tanks on a three to five year cycle to prevent lines from becoming clogged. The engineers do not recommend using the package treatment plant to process this septage, Demer added, proposing instead that an estimated 65 truck loads per year be taken either to Remington or Culpeper on a cost basis for treatment.
