For the 22nd year, Mr. and Mrs. William Carrigan invite the people of Rappahannock County to join them for a picnic supper, games, music, pageantry and fireworks on the hill side at Avon Hall to celebrate the nation's Independence Day.
The activities are the traditional grand finale for Washington's old fashioned Fourth of July. .Everything starts on Friday night with Sursum Corda School and Day Care Center’s annual fund raisins auction at 7 p.m. in John Walker Jenkins' auction house.
