Clarification
The 1982-83 county tax rate on personal property is $5.60 which will be applied on one-fourth the finance value of licensed motor vehicles.
Last year, Rappahannock's personal property rate was $1.40 on 100 percent of finance value. The higher rate applied to one-fourth the value works out to the same levy as in the previous year, according to the commissioner of the revenue.
