In finals played Saturday batted his way to victory in the Rappahannock the Rappahannock Recreation Association's junior tennis tournament.
Seeded number two in the contest, Hansen downed number four seed Bobby D. Gehringer in the semi-final round Friday in a three-set match, 2-6, 7-6 and 6-4.
Also in the semi-finals. Tod Landis upset Chris White, seeded number one, by scores of 6-2, 6-7 (tie breaker 7-4), 7-6 (tie breaker 7-4).
Landis fell in Saturday’s final round to Hansen, 6-2, 63.
In the “A” flight of the junior's tournament, Douglas Barnes came out on top in a hard fought match with Lee Baines, 6-7 (tie breaker 5-4), 61,6-3.
