share with my family, one of my memorable childhood experiences, I stopped at the Old Hollow swimming hole for a refreshing plunge.
The water was as cool and deep as I remembered. The place was not. Beer cans and other debris was strewn everywhere, much of the trash apparently left there by a group we had seen earlier in the day at the swimming hole.
While my daughter and 1 enjoyed the water, my wife got a trash bag from our car and started picking up litter.
