Konick added that he’d contacted James Swindler at his business and that the Sperryville shop owner agreed to come immediately, apologizing for forgetting about the meeting. “But I told him it wouldn’t do any good unless we can find a third person—we still wouldn’t have a quorum."
The BZA chairman and Konick agreed that a permit could be issued to the Ashbvs for a temporary mobile home during construction of their residence.
“It's perfectly routine.” Bird noted of the application. “Our ordinance provides for temporary mobile homes while a house is being built." he said, informing Mrs. Ashby that she will have to come back to the BZA next month for formal approval of the one-year trailer permit.
Bird told Farrar and the Shultz.es that their variance requests will be tabled until the BZA’s August 5 session and apologized for the “inexcusable” delay.
