The Rappahannock County Library will not be a quiet, subdued place on August 7 and 15. At least that is what Maggie Rogers hopes.
Maggie will be presenting puppet shows to children at the library, and she plans to have everyone involved as much as possible. “I have to keep the kids involved and interested because silence in a puppet show is deadly,” Maggie said.
The show on August 7 will run from 10-11 a.m. for pre-schoolers who have been attending the library’s story hour for the past five weeks. The August 15 show will begin after an awards ceremony at 7 p.m. for school age children who have been participating in the summer reading program.
