Rappahannock almost a year ago, and she began thinking about doing puppet shows here. She and Kenny work Killtime now in their pottery business, so she still does not have a lot of extra
time. “When the library called me to do these shows, the puppets that I have left were packed away,” Maggie said. She has begun the process of making new puppets, repairing the old ones and planning the shows.
“I might have an introduction to puppets, and I’m planning on songs and a lot of participation from the kids,” Maggie said. Refreshments will also be served at the August 15 ceremony and show.
“I eventually might go back into puppets again full-time,” Maggie said. “They can be very educational tools, and they keep coming back into my life, anyway.”
