An application for a special use permit was awarded to Dr. Werner Krebser and Dr. Jerry Martin for their planned office budding on Gay Street during the regular Town Council meeting January 8.

A special use permit had previously been granted to the Krebser' Martin partnership in November but was rescinded because of an advertising error regarding the lot number.

During the meeting Dr. Martin, representing the partnership, said that although questions had been raised regarding parking, they were “in compliance.” He said that the building would provide 24 parking spaces; 10 of these will be allocated for doctors’ offices and the remainder would be used by the welfare department and an adjacent real estate office.
