Evening class
registration
Piedmont Technical Education Center will be accepting registration for evening classes which will begin on January 21, 1986. A wide variety of course offerings in the areas of business, health, food occupations and trade and industrial education classes will be offered.
New course offerings include: Food Service Supervision, HomeOwnei*s Repair and Shorthand Refresher. Regular course offerings include the following: Accounting I & II, Basic Auto Mechanics, Basic Programming, Carpentry, Introduction To Data'Pcpcessing, Drafting, Electricity, Industrial Maintenance, Masonry, Small Engine Repair (Beginning and Advanced), Typing I & II, Word Processing, Geriatric Nursing Assistants and Personal Investments.
The Geriatric Nursing Assistant class is state approved and lasts for 80 horn's of class and nursing home instruction. All other classes are 30 hours in length and for personal advancement or improvement.
In addition to the regular vocational programs, the Adult Basic Education (ABE) and General Education Development (GED) classes will begin on January 14, 1986. The ABE and GED classes are .offered two nights per week (TuesdayThursday, 6:45-9:15 p.m.).
