When the torrential rains, high winds and lightning of Hurricane Bob suddenly struck, the unit acted quickly and cleared the lakes of approximately 500 Boy Scouts who were on the water participating in canoeing, rowing, sail-board an^raft activities. A disaster was avoided and no serious injuries occurred.
