In another case, Rocky Lane Voodward was found guilty of cursng and abusing his parents, who live in Route 729 in Flint Hill.
Trooper Harry Newlin testified hat on the night of December 14, he tad been called to investigate an ibandoned car on Route 729 and had ound Rocky Woodward, owner of he automobile, down the road at his jarents’ house.
Trooper Newlin said that when le entered the house, he saw the defendant wrestling with his father on ;he second floor stair landing and leard the defendant directing )bscene language at both parents. According to Trooper Newlin, the senior Mr. Woodward was bleeding rom minor injuries sustained during ;he fight.
Rocky Woodward decided not to testify, but pointed out to Judge Darson that his parents did not press :harges and were not present in the :ourtroom.
Judge Carson imposed a fine of $100 and a sentence of 10 days in jail, which he suspended on condition of the defendant’s good behavior for the next six months.
