School Division of the contest. Junior Sean Bennett of Boston ranked eighth among the 93 students in Level E which was for students enrolled in calculus or above. Tobias Dengel, a ninth grader from Front Royal, placed ninth among the 99 participants in Level A which was open to students in their second year of mathematics beginning with Algebra I.
Headmaster William E. Lynn and Charles McGlothlin, chairman of Wakefield’s Math Department; both expressed great satisfaction with the students’ performance.
