Soldiers’ names sought

County residents with relatives serving in the Persian Gulf or who have been called to active or reserve duty as part of Operation Desert Shield are asked to provide the names, APO addresses and birthdates of those servicemen and women. The information should be sent to the Rappahannock News, P.O. Box 59, Washington, Va. 22747, Attn: Service list. The newspaper will publish a list of the names so that other county residents who wish to correspond with their neighbors can do so. The project is being sponsored by the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution. Christmas carollers wanted

Carol lers are needed for the Town of Washington's Colonial Christmas celebration, planned for Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1 and 2. For information, or to volunteer your voice for the chorus, contact Susan Longyear (675-3679). Bloodmobile Nov. 26
