'Adventures...' at theatre

"The Adventures of Milo and Otis" is the feature attraction at the Gay St. Theatre in Washington on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 17 and 18. They don't come any cuter than this heartwarming, tail-thumping story about a curious kitten and his pug-nosed puppy pal. Narrated by Dudley Moore, the movie follows the best buddies from their bucolic barnyard home to the scary forests adjoining the farm. Showtime is 2 p.m., and the movie is rated "G."

Dance benefits RAWL

The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League will sponsor a country/western dance at the Amissville fire hall on Saturday, Nov. 17, from 8 p.m. to midnight. Music will be provided by D.J. Video & Connection of Front Royal. Admission is $5 per person, no alcohol will be allowed. Refreshments will be available. There will be a raffle following the dance featuring a TRS-80 color computer and a selection of Country/western tapes. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling Tom Junk (987-8617) or Kimberly Novak (937-5553). Harvest dinner at Chester Gap ” The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a harvest dinner on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the fire hall. The menu will include ham and turkey, complete with all the trimmings. Tickets are $7 for adults, $3 for children 12 and under.
