Mr. Davis was bom Dec. 8, 1922, in Raphine, the son of the late Herbert William and Grace Stoner Davis. He was retired from Avtex Fibers Inc.
Surviving are his wife, Tressle B. Davis; two daughters, Darlene Moore of Flint Hill and Dixie Dodson of Viewtown; one sister, Audrey Kyger of Raphine; and five grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal.
Lee Norris
Lee Roy Norris, 85, of Culpeper died Nov. 9 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
Mr. Norris was bom March 13, 1905 in Rappahannock County, the son of the late Burford and Pearl Tidier Norris. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mrs. Cecil Hudson Norris.
Mr. Norris was a retired businessman and a member of Fairfax Lodge .43, Past Master of the Lodge in 1941, member of the board of trustees, past president of the Retail Merchants Association, member of the Culpeper Host Lions Club of Culpeper and a member of Slate Mills Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth White Norris; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Lea Lester of Culpeper and Mrs. Shirley Ann Butler of Richmond; one son, John Randall Norris of Marshall; one sister, Mrs. Virginia Reynolds of Culpeper; seven grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild.
Funeral services were held Nov. 12 at Clore Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Eaton officiating. Burial was in Culpeper Masonic Cemetery.
