It was a busy weekend at Country Manor, time to do the fashion photography for the summer catalog.
At Phyllis and Jimmy Swindler's Country Manor, that is a family affair with daughters Bobette Swindler and Natalie Hathaway and grandaughters Sara and Emma Hathaway serving as models. Other models are Peggy Stephenson, who is otherwise in charge of catalog production, Kay Miller and Heather Young.
For this catalog, which will be mailed in March, the Swindlers chose to use the store for the studio.
John Forgit. catalog designer with Forgit and Wight Associates in New Hampshire, was down along with photographer Jim Douglass from California. Mr. Douglass was in Sperryville on assignment for Photogroup of Silver Spring, Md. He has been doing the fashion photography for the Country Manor catalog since before he moved to California. He brought along Janet Reeves, as a free lance stylist.
