To the Editor:
I would like to express a heartfelt “Thank You” to all those who were involved Tuesday morning, Jan. 3 with rescuing my horse, Mike, from a cattle guard on Route 656 in Castleton.
Although my old Mike didn’t make it through the ordeal 1 was comforted to know that his last dying moments were surrounded by ipompassion. All those who were there showed me that there is still hope for communities to pull together when disaster strikes, even to help those of us who are novice in our knowledge of how to deal with circumstances beyond our control.
