The Farm Management Computer Classroom on Wheels is coming to Rappahannock County on Feb. 27 and 28. Plan to attend our workshop for intermediate and beginning computer users and get hands-on training tailored to the needs of the modern farm business manager! We have 15 computers available for the training, so contact the Rappahannock Extension Office immediately to receive a spot. The training will be held at the Washington fire hall and the topics are as follows:
• Introduction to Farm Business Computing and Windows: An overview of computer software and hardware application to agriculture, plus instruction on basic windows.
• Introduction to Farm Business Record Keeping Using Quicken: Introduces participants to farm business record keeping, writing checks, statement reconciliation and financial reports.
• Introduction to Farm Business Decisions Making Lotus 1-2-3: Introduces participants to spreadsheets, enterprise budgets, and "what if?” analysis.
• Introduction to Farm Decision Aids Using Spreadsheets: Instructs <■ current spreadsheet users in the operation of decision aid templates for machinery costs, break even analysis, budgeting, and crop dry ing decisions.
