Both the girls' volleyball teams picked up wins last Thursday over Clarke County.
hor the varsity, the win brought the season record in district play to two wins and six losses. For the JV it made the season even with four wins and four losses.
The varsity dropped the first game 15 to 8 and then had to struggle back to win the next two games. In the second game the team fell behind 4 to 0 before Becky Gallegos came up to serve, and the team rallied to take a 5 to 4 lead.
On serves by Courtney Welch and Susan Jewell tine team increased its lead to 11 to 5. Johanna Tole served and the lead increased to 13 to 5.

The third and final game was a clitf hanger. The Panther squad jumped off to a 3 to 0 lead. Clarke evened the score and took the lead 4 to 3.
