August 3 was set as the trial date for David Winfield Haught, 29, of Rixeyville. He was indicted in March for grand larceny, charged with stealing a Remington 870 12-gauge shotgun from William Mai Fox. Mr. Haught waived his right to a jury for that trial.
August 3 was also set for the trial of Karen A. Lundregan, 35, of Berwyn Heights, Md. She was indicted in March for fraud and for passing a bad check to the Faith Mountain Company in the amount of $3,295.87, both felonies.
Roy Wilson Rodgers, 49, of Fredericksburg, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of petit larceny. He pled guilty to being in possession of a motor vehicle title which he was not legally entitled to.
Judge Robertson sentenced Mr. Rodgers to 60 days in jail and suspended that. He must also pay the . cost of prosecution, pay a $250 fine, and be on unsupervised probation for one year.
