All of those crime stoppers out there should be on the lookout for a' 1989 white Honda Accord, Va. license number NDJ827, which was stolen from Settles Garage in Flint Hill last Wednesday evening.

The car belongs to Peter Andrew Bair of Falls Church and was on'the lot at Settles with the keys in the ashtray. Yesterday the car was spotted at Ma and Pa’s store in Rixeyville when the driver of the car drove off without paying for the gas. The .owners of the store described the driver of the car as a thin black male.

Sam Snead of Sperryville had a tractor accident on Father’s Day. According to a family member, .Mr.' Snead was able to jump off the tractor before it flipped, but in doing so he badly injured a leg. He was transported to the hospital and has undergone surgery and may be facing more operations to correct the problem.

Two field fires were put out by local fire departments last Wednesday when trees were hit by lightning and caught tire.
