Bolen. Visiting with Beulah’s sisters and our other cousins the Vaughans and Painters. One Monday they visited the Bolen Cemetery in Shenandoah National Park.
Wednesday morning I had the pleasure of meeting with them at Beulah’s. We ate lunch at the Mimslyn in^uray.
Cousi|fBonnie and myself, being videoed by Russell, while portraying Scarlet O’Hara and Rhet Butler on that grand old stair case in the lounge.
Thursday morning, June 8th, we met in Sperryville at the Appetite Repair Shop) where our cousin Sally D. Keyser joined us for a light lunch and sharing of more information.
On this date they learned of their connection with the Judd family and were given the address of Mrs. Dorothy Herndon Judd in Luray so they might obtain one of her books and learn more from her.
They were headed down to Laurel Mills to see the old Smith place, which was once owned by the Bolens and to take a few pictures.
A visit with Ruth Bolen Kelley was also on the menu. After lunch, Mrs. Keyser and 1 visited with Mrs. Ethel Tyner.
Much knowledge was gained by these visits of our western kindred. It was a meeting of personalities and not of minds. We would have recognized each other from another world just by our conservation.
The Bolens left Sunday for a flight to Gettysburg, Pa. to spend a few days touring that famous battlefield, then on home. This genetic stuff really runs deep! Oh yes, I really believe in U.F.O.’s!
