Book Day
The public schools will be having Book Day from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m., next Thursday, Aug. 22, at both schools. There is no charge for regular books. This is an opportunity for parents to meet teachers and for students to pick up schedules.
This year for the first time RCES will have a school supply store in the cafeteria, and parents will be able td purchase all the supplies their children will need at reasonable prices.
At the high school Principal Jack Raines wants to meet with hll parents of RCHS students in the gymnasium at 7 p.m. The new attendance policy, communications standard and other important information will be given out. Following that Athletic Director Mike Tupper wants to meet with parents of all students in fall sports to discuss items in the athletes handbook.
