There will be 10 new teachers at Rappahannock County Elementary School although two are returning to the school after four years away.
Molly Bailey taught third grade for four years before leaving for four years to work at Fauquier Hospital getting insurance company approval to have patients treated. “I wanted to take a break and try something new” she said. “I missed working with kids.”
She will be team teaching in fifth grade, teaching language arts to two sections while Chuck Way teaches math, science and social studies to the same two groups. “1 really liked third grade. This will be something different,” she said. However, she is looking forward to concentrating on language arts and plans to put major emphasis on writing.
Paul Tieche will have a self-contained classroom for the other section of fifth grade. This is his first year teaching, although he has lots of experience as a substitute teacher in his native
