Hand-quilting Workshop Set

Experience the magic presents A Hand-Quilting Workshop with; Susan Parrish from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Flint Hill Public House. The cost is $100 per person and includes all materials and delicious food. Enrollment is limited. Call John Cloud at 675-1864 to register.

New Location Announced

Washington’s Video Classics would like to announce that they have moved next door into Sundance Studio. The new hours are Wednesday until Saturday 12 noon to 7 p.m.

Field Day Set

Summer Forage Field Day will be held 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday, Aug. 16 at Manor Farm near Sperryville. Lunch will be sponsored by Rappahannock Farmers’ Association.

Manor Farm is located two miles west of the Rappahannock Farmers Coop on Route 211, left turn on service road or 1.5 miles east of the Sperryville Exxon Station on Route 211, turn right on the service road Indigo Lane follow the Virginia Cooperative Extension signs.

For reservations, call the Rappahannock Extension Office at 6753619 by Aug. 13. The ev£nt is coordinated and sponsored by the Rappahannock Farmers’ Association, Virginia Cooperative Extension, and the Department of Conservation and Recreation.

Internet Seminar Planned

A free Internet Seminar will be hosted by Summit Communications on Tuesday, Aug. 20 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Pancho Villa, the Mexican restaurant in Culpeper. Summit will allow one hour for dinner, followed by a chance to ask questions and discussion about interesting sites and use of the Internet. Depression Support Group To Meet

Warren Memorial Hospital’s Depression Support Group meets the second and'fourth Thursdays of each month in Room 222,in the Education Department on the hospital’s second floor. The group meets at 9 a.m. on the second Thursday and at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Thursday. For more information, please call 636-0314.
