Vienna, and a Honda 4x4 4-wheeler, reported stolen from Madison County, were both found at a residence on Route 645 in AmissviLle where Mr. Johnson had allegedly been storing them. The property owners did not know the items were stolen when they gave Mr. Johnson permission to store them there, said Major MacWelch.
Major MacWelch said that a tip from a concerned citizen led him to the stolen items, which he found after executing a search warrant. He i^ working with the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office to determine if numerous larcenies in the area can be traced to Mr. Johnson.
A burglary was reported at the Regina Sanchez residence on Williams FarYn Lane. She told the Sheriff’s Office last Sunday that she believed someone had broken into her house but that nothing was reported missing. The matter is still under investigation.
