In the first flight, the U.S. plays Brazil (Aug. 17), Russia (Aug. 19) and Ireland (Aug. 21). If they win two of the three games, they advance to the medal-competition on Aug. 23 and 25, where they’ll get another chance at the Dutch.
Certainly, Jon McCullough wants to come home with a medal, but just the opportunity to compete in the Paralympics is victory in itself.
