Pary Chairman Walt Longyear made an appearance, saying that he was "crashing the party,” but received a warm reception from the Weinbergs and everyone else at the party.
Mr. Weinberg said that he had visited all the polling places in Rappahannock County during fhe day and had spent time at a few in Warrenton. He said he was extremely impressed with how friendly everyone was toward each other. Democrats and Republicans alike.
Candidate Weinberg said, ”1 want to thank the citizens of Rappahannock County for their unfailing courtesy and friendship throughout this race, whatever their political preference or how they voted. ...I am grateful to all those who supported my candidacy and to all those who came out and voted in such great numbers and ip such good spirit.”
