New Nutrition
Site To Open

The senior nutrition site will be moving into the former Washington School in time for next Monday's lunch.
Brian Duncan, executive director of the Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services Board (CSB) toured the facility Monday afternoon and said he is willing to sign the lease for the use of the building.
Michael Soule, senior advocate with the CSB, gave him the tour and brought him up to date on the many donations of time, materials and money, the project has received.
The seniors committee met last Friday at the new site and made plans for a "Thank You" party at the new location for Friday, Nov. 15. A "Grand Opening" planned for Nov. 27, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, may have to be rescheduled because the Community Services Board will be closing at noon that day for Thanksgiving vacation and all of the vans needs to be back in Culpeper by that time.
Mr. Duncan told Mr. Soule the Front Royal Moose Lodge was planning to have a Bingo night for the new senior center because many of its members are glad to see the old school being used. Several of them attended school there, he said.
Mr. Duncan went from the old school to meet with CSB board member Aline Johnson and attend the supervisors meeting. There Joy Sloane asked him and Mrs. Johnson why all the other senior nutrition sites in the planning district
