6 bouillon cubes salt, pepper to taste Combine all ingredients with three cups of water in kettle. Mix well. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Simmer for one hour or until vegetables are tender. Remove bay leaf. Potato Soup 6 medium potatoes 2 chicken bouillon cubes 1 tablespoon grated onion 2 tablespoons margarine 1/4 teaspoon paprika 1 tablespoon parsley 2 tablespoon flour Water to cook potatoes 2 to 3 cups milk (more if desired) 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce Peel and dice potatoes. Cook just until done. Drain and add milk. Turn heat to medium; add margarine, spices, onion, parsley, paprika and bouillon cubes. Combine flour with small amount of water and add to soup mixture. Cook until thick.
