By DIANA CORBIN i Rappahannock News Contributing Writer J With the fall season of the Rappahannock Soccer League winding d|)wn, the enthusiasm of Rjappahannock players is at an all-time high. < Linda Torrance's U-10 team traveled to Madison in the cold rain and pjayed a great game with the crowds cheering on Saturday, Oct 26. Coach Tbrrance said her team warmed everyone up with great play. Carl Letson's U1? team played at home against F^uquier-4 winning 4-0. "This was a real team effort," Coach Letson said. • In other games that Saturday kjenny Rogers' U-14 played Fauquier t<} a 3-3 tie, Carl Letson's U-12 played J6hn Bridgeman's team, the latter winning 3-1. ! Also on Oct. 26, the Rappahannock Sjoccer League held a soccer clinic taught by the Soccer Academy from Manassas. Richard Price, the RSL commissioner, was very pleased with tfce large turnout. Youth from Mqdison, Culpeper and Rappahannock attended. Sessions were held for different age groups from U-7 and parents to ending the day with a coach's clinic for adults.
