Is OK To the Editor: Here's one for the "Who Says People Are No Damn Good?" file. After hiking the Little Devil’s Staircase trail in the Park Sunday afternoon, my wife and I were driving home when I ran off the road and got stuck. , In the next five or 10 minutes, no less than eight cars stopped by to ask if we needed help. We were plucked out of the ditch by a man with a white truck who identified himself as Daniel Pullen. Mr. Pullen and his companion refused to take any money for their good deed; in fact, they seemed to be genuinely embarrassed when I offered to pay them. It kind of makes you feel good about the entire human race when something like that happens. JIM DOHERTY Castleton
