for new year

Kicking off the first meeting of the new fiscal year, county school superintendent Dr. David Gangel told the school board last week, “One of the challenges and opportunities we have this year is in the planning process,” particularly in consolidating several school plans and “melding strategic planning into our six-year planning document.” The board also re-approved operating policies concerning leave accrual, payroll and finance, communications, and decision-making.
Greve School Council
Tfeacher Liz Blubaugh and David Gillis reported that 18 county faculty and administrative personnel attended an Effective Schools Conference in South Carolina in order to learn how to achieve the objective of “learning for all.”
