He was bom May 28, 1927 in Sperryville, the son of Robinson and Mamie Atkins Pullen.
He was a member of Wayne Hills Baptist Church and was retired from the Genicom Corporation.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Cynthia Pullen and a brother John Pullen.
Survivors include his wife Rachel Weaver Pullen; a son Norman Dwight Pullen and his wife Karen of Sterling; four daughters Hope Pullen Grove and her husband Sam Grove of Waynesboro, Pamela Pullen Crawford and her husband Jiwan Crawford of St. Augustine, Fla.; Renae Pullen Hoffman and her husband Dr. John Hoffman of Appomattox and Janis Pullen Rule and her husband James Rule of Waynesboro and 13 grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters Ida Mae Pullen and Margaret Pullen Huffman, both of Culpeper.
Grave side services were conducted on Friday, July 17 at Riverview Cemetery by the Rev. Morris Campbell.
