The council will hold a meeting Aug. 3, to bring together people interested and involved in managing change within the school system.
A special effort is underway to assist substitute teachers. Teachers are working over the summer to develop an orientation handbook of standard procedures to be given to the subs. The council is also providing mandatory paid training sessions and observation periods
