How beautifully these lovely lilies transform an otherwise
plain, drab fence. The fence was performing its task very well, but the owners knew that God’s handiwork would provide a bright touch. How true this is in our own lives. So many of us go through each day doing our jobs and functioning satisfactorily, but where is that spring to our step and the gleam in our eyes when we smile? Where is that special touch that brightens each day? God’s love adds brightness to the spirit...the love that makes all the difference between a mediocre day and a marvelous day. Furthermore, we brighten the lives of those we meet. The love of God is contagious. Plant the touch of God in your life. Visit His sanctuary each Sabbath and feel His spirit enter yours. You will then have that bright touch for others and live each day to the fullest. Remember, God is the bright touch in your life.
