Films to be shown
Two powerful dramatic films by World Wide Pictures, a motion picture ministry of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, will be shown in the area this weekend and the public is invited. The first movie is entitled The Home Coming and will be shown on Friday, Aug. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville. This film is for teenagers and speaks to everyone who’s had to struggle with peer pressure, belonging and making the right choices. The other movie, Repeat Performance, will be shown at the Washington Baptist Church on Sunday, Aug. 9 at 4 p.m. This movie is for the whole family and is a true story about forgiveness and God’s unconditional love. The Sperryville United Methodist Church will hold Vacation Bible School Aug. 17-21 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The theme will be Circle of Love. The program will conclude on Friday with a very special celebration. All area children are invited to attend for a fun filled week of crafts, games, songs and refreshments.
