Census listing
set for October
To conduct Census 2000, !the Census Bureau needs to know the address and location of every living quarter in the county, anywhere a person lives or could live. Listing in ^Rappahannock County is taking place in mid-October through the end of November.
The “listers” will go door to door, recording the locations and addresses of all living quarters. So be on the lookout for local area residents working as listers for Census 2000. All census listers will be identifiable by their red, white and |blue badges that identify them jas a “census enumerator.” If you have any question on the identity of census listers, call <888) 325-7733.
