Berry-Clark reunion set

The family reunion of James Adrian and Bertha Ellen Clark Berry will be held Sunday, Oct. 4 at Rappahannock Park on U S. 211 near Washington. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. Family and friends are invited. “Please bring a covered dish and join us,” said of spokesperson.

Registrar office to be open

The Rappahannock Registrar’s Office will be open for registration on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Monday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In order to be eligible to vote in the General Election to be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3, you must register no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5. Music festival scheduled

The third annual Rappahannock Music Festival will be held on the stage in the lot next to Mountainside Market in Sperryville on Oct. 3 and 4. The concert and parking is free. The concert will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. To get on the play list, performers may call producer Brian Ross at 987-1010. Republican Rally set

An old-fashioned Republican Rally and dinner featuring Congressman Frank Wolf will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 3 p.m. at Washington Volunteer Fire Department. For people who don’t want dinner, the rally program will begin around 3:45 p.m. All events other than the dinner are free. For information call Walter Longyear at 675-3679.

Hunter Safety course offered

A Hunter Safety course will be offered at the Flint Hill Fire Hall on Saturday and Sunday. Oct. 3 and 4 from 1 until 6 p.m.
