Edward Weakley County native Edward Lee Weakley, 41, of Rappahannock died on Saturday, Sept. 26. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Barbara Weakley; one son Edward Clifton Weakley; one daughter Melissa Lee Weakley, all of Fairfax and his mother Martha Weakley of Sperryville. Additional survivors include one sister Nancy Presgraves of Luray and four brothers Andrew Weakley, Roy Weakley and Richard Weakley, all of Sperryville and Wilson Weakley of Fairfax. He was predeceased by his Mrs. Pearl Hawkins of Alexandria was a Tuesday overnight guest of her sister Mrs. Vallie Butler and Norma Holt. Mrs. Lillian Sykes of Culpeper was a Sunday guest of her mother Mrs. Audra Crawford. Dr. and Mrs. John O’Bannon of Richmond were Saturday evening guests of Mrs. Louise O’Bannon. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Vest left on Saturday, Sept. 19 and traveled through the Smokey Mountains, visited in Gatlinburg, Tenn. and from there to Pigeon Forge attending several music shows. They enjoyed a day at Dollywood, returning home on Friday, Sept. 25. Greg Daczewitz of Haymarket, Philip and Jacque Daczewitz of York, Pa. and Derek Daczewitz of Blacksburg were weekend guests of their parents Joel and Merle Daczewitz and attended the Bicentennial Festival and Parade. Peter and Mary Beth Durant of Washington, D.C. were weekend guests of Richard and Rena Burke. On Saturday Daniel and Bessie Norman were among those attending the Woodville Bicentennial Parade. Afterwards they attended the fifth annual Retired DC. Firefighters reunion held at the 4-H Center near Front Royal. A very enjoyable day with good food, friends and fellowship.

Found and Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements. Grace Davis Salesperson Grace Ellen Davis, 37, of Sumerduck died Friday, Sept. 25 at her residence. She was born Nov. 5, 1960 in Front Royal, a daughter of Mary' Elizabeth Frazier of Rappahannock and the late Milton Daniel Frazier. Clark at 987-8827. Have a great weekend and enjoy the festivals in nearby counties. She was a salesperson and a member of the Amissville United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons Leonard Joseph Davis IV and Alvin Judson Davis, both of Viewtown; one brother Roy Frazier of Rappahannock and an uncle Waverly Frazier of Castleton. Williams Sr. Culpeper resident Charles Bruce Williams, 82, of Culpeper died Saturday, Sept. 26 at Culpeper Health Care Center. Mr. Williams was born March 23, 1916 in the Philippines to the late Alpheus Daniel Williams and Katherine Shields Williams. Mr. Williams was predeceased by his wife Nannie Dickenson Williams. He is survived by a son Charles Bruce Williams Jr.; a grandson Daniel Bruce Williams and a granddaughter Emily Alane Williams, all of Culpeper; one nephew Garnett Williams and his children Christopher and Brooke, all of California. A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 2 at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Alan Hooker officiating. Found and Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper is in charge of the arrangements.
