the higher the costs of building will be. The VPSA’s interest rates are currently only five percent and the amortized debt payment will average about $225,000 per year. Actually, if you deduct the $175,000 per year we currently pay to send our vocational ed students down to Piedmont Technical Education Center (which we will stop doing once the addition is built), our debt payment will come to only about $50,000 per year. That’s an amount our county can handle, only one additional cent on the tax rate.
