Town plans Christmas party
The Town Council of Washington would like to invite all town residents and ail the people who work in town to the first Town Christmas Party on Sunday, Dec. 6. A potluck dinner will begin at 5 p.m. at the Town Hall. Afterwards, there will be caroling and the lighting ceremony for the tree in front of the courthouse.
Christmas bazaar planned
The CCLC Christmas Bazaar will take place on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Washington School on Mt. Salem Avenue. Included will be a children’s shopping room, a bake sale, a white elephant and crafts sale, face painting, lunch, pictures with Santa, and a Beanie baby raffle. Benefit bake sale slated
A bake sale to benefit Piedmont Feline Rescue League will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the foyer of Talk of the Town. Homemade pies, cakes, cheesecakes, cookies and breads will be available.
Holiday open house set
Historic Sperryville holiday open house will be held on Sunday, Dec. 6 from noon to 6 p.m. There will be crafts, antiques, arts, books, food, door prizes and merriment. Over 20 shops will open their doors for your holiday shopping!
