Christmas concert scheduled
The Rappahannock Elementary and High School Band will have a Christmas concert on Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. at the high school. The public is invited.
Christmas breakfast planned
The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary is sponsoring an “All American Christmas Breakfast,” on Saturday, Dec. 12 at the Rappahannock Elementary School. Breakfast will be served from 7 to 11 a.m. Santa will be visiting between 9 and 11 a m. Adult breakfast will be $5 and $3 for children six years and under. Carry out available. Movie at The Theatre
The movie, Smoke Signals will be shown at The Theatre on Gay Street in Washington on Dec. 18 at 8 p.m. promptly.
Christmas banquet scheduled
The annual Christmas banquet sponsored by the Washington Volunteer Fire Department will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the fire hall. Menu consist of appetizers, soup, comish game hen, wild rice, vegetable rolls, dessert. Wine, soft drinks, coffee and tea will be offered for drinks. Price is $15 for adults and $5 for children. Bloodmobile coming
The Rappahannock Community Bloodmobile will be held on Dec. 8 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Amissville Fire and Rescue Department. The bloodmobile is sponsored by the Family and Community Educators, formerly the Rappahannock County Extension Homemakers. For more information call Marie Riedel, 675-3638.
