Education group to meet
Come and bring a friend to the next meeting of the First Thursday Education Support Group on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock Library. Representatives from many groups working inside and outside the school system will be on hand to talk about their organizations and their role in the schools. First Thursday is an open forum for parents and community members to discuss any education issue on their minds. Holiday refreshments will be served. Questions, contact Ellen Niell-Dore at 675-1461.
Book Fair at Wakefield
Wakefield Country Day School located in Flint Hill is having a Book Fair on Dec. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. This is a great opportunity to do some holiday shopping. Everyone is welcome. For more information call the school at 635-8555.

Epiphany Catholic School will be hosting its annual Christmas Crafters Bazaar on Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parish hall at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Culpeper.
Services Board to meet
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. at Airlie Conference Center in Warrenton. Paintings on display
The Old Sperryville Bookshop presents a selection of oil paintings by local artist Steven Kenny. On view now through December are a variety of past works, all meticulously rendered in Mr. Kenny’s surreal and witty style. The shop is located at 44 Main Street in Sperryville. from now until Christmas the store will be open seven days a week, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
